How do I redeem a Golden Ticket "FREE" gift?

Free gifts are the best! You may have won a "Golden Ticket", an exclusive "Special Gift" or other award that qualifies you to claim a "Free Gift".

Here's How.

  1. Visit our online store and select the flavor and associated size noted as your "Free Gift".
  2. Be sure to add the item to your shopping cart.
  3. At check-out, enter your special code in the "Discount code" section.
  4. The associated discount for your "Free Gift" will be applied to your order.

Note: The associated product to redeem your "Free Gift" must be included in your shopping cart at time of check-out.

Here's an example... You've earned a "Free Chocolate Bar"

  • Visit our online store
  • Go to the "bars" tab
  • Select "All Chocolate Bars"
  • Select the flavor bar you'd like
  • Select "Candy Bar (Single)" and add to your cart
  • Continue shopping to fulfill the criteria noted to redeem your FREE GIFT minus the added Free Bar.
  • Select "Check-out"
  • Proceed to shipping options
  • Enter your special code in the "Discount Code" section.
  • Submit payment for the final amount due.

Cashing in on "Free Shipping" can be a big deal especially during those hot summer months or the thrill of the holidays.

Congratulations of being the lucky recipient of a "Free Shipping" voucher or "Golden Ticket" winner.

Here's How to redeem your special discount.

  1. Visit our online store and add your item(s) to your shopping cart.
  2. Select check-out and the desired shipping option and details.
  3. Enter your special code in the "Discount code" section.
  4. A discount for shipping will be applied to your order total.
  5. Proceed to checkout as usual.

Please note: Free Shipping offers are only redeemable toward a single order with one deliverable address and cannot be applied toward multiple addresses.

How should I store my chocolate?

Chocolate is best stored in a cool, dry place between the temperatures of 60°F-70°F.

When stored appropriately, the shelf life of our chocolates vary. Bonbons last between 6 to 8 weeks. Solid chocolate and chocolate bars are best enjoyed within a year, and our caramels within 6 months.

Generally, it's best to avoid the refrigerator or freezer due to the high humidity that often causes blooming (when your chocolate and cocoa butter separates and you see that white layering or speckles).

If you desire to store your chocolate in your refrigerator it's best to do so in your freezer. Be sure to wrap your chocolate with several layers of protection and place it in a tightly sealed container to keep moisture out. When you choose to enjoy it next, bring your chocolate to room temperature before unwrapping.

Did you know chocolate is odor and fragrance absorbing!
Chocolate is highly sensitive. It is susceptible to temperature (too cold/too hot), moisture, air and light. It is highly absorbent. The fat and sugar it contains will absorb surrounding odors and flavorings so avoid storing it near scented candles, spices and cheese.

Chocolate is best stored in a dry, odor-free place with good air circulation. Good storage practices help avoid decay, undesired features like fat bloom and sugar bloom, and help extend shelf life.

Do you have vegan chocolate?

Yes, our dark chocolate in 55%, 64% and 72% are vegan friendly. We have a nice selection of chocolate bars, chocolate bark and bonbons that are vegan.

Our dark chocolate bonbon fillings are made with coconut cream.

Our dark chocolate covered caramels are not vegan.

Do you have sugar-free chocolate?

Visit our Northglenn, CO space at the Painted Tree Boutique for a selection of low-sugar and sugar free options.

Why can't I find shipping options?

Unfortunately, due to the high vulnerability of product melt, we do not ship to certain states when temperatures are far from ideal. Especially during the hot Summer months the following states are considered too high risk due to temperatures and deliver-ability. AZ, AL, FL, GA, HI, LA, MS, NC, OK, SC, TX, VA, CA, AR, IA, ID, IN, IL, KS, KY, OH, NV.

Why are shipping options so limited?

Nobody likes to receive melted chocolate! and we want to ensure (to the best of our ability) your chocolate reaches you and your recipients looking and tasting great.

Because temperature sensitivity and timing are critical when it comes to shipping chocolate, we elect to use the most reliable shippers who will guarantee on time delivery and provide tracking information so you know when the product arrives to make sure it is quickly removed from any possible extended heat exposure.

We ship nationwide using providers that will get you your product fastest. Most critically during the Summer months or year-round cities that maintain temperatures above 75 degrees, we highly recommend selecting the fastest option available.

Please note that our chocolates are made and shipped from Colorado, so orders going to the West and South/South East will be the most vulnerable. In some cases we will not ship to a particular state including Nevada and Arizona.

How do I track my order?

As soon as we've fulfilled your order, you'll receive an email notifying you when your order has shipped along with tracking details for your reference. Once your order has been handed off to the selected shipping provider, it is the responsibility of the customer to track the order.

VIP CUSTOMERS:
If you have registered as a VIP customer with us, you can also access tracking details within the portal. Simply log in to your account and access your recent order information found in your account dashboard.

GUEST CHECKOUT: If you checked out as a guest, please refer to the email used when placing your order. We'll send all tracking details to the email submitted.

When will my order be delivered?

Delivery is based on your chosen shipping method at checkout.

How far in advance should I place my order?

Orders placed before 4:00pm (Mountain) are sent out within 24 to 48 hrs dependent on the time of year* and the day an order was placed.

*Seasonal Shipping:

  • During the Summer months we do not ship on Thursdays, Fridays, Saturdays or Sundays.
  • As soon as temperatures reduce, during the late Fall/Winter months we ship Monday - Saturday.

Do you deliver locally?

At this time we do not provide an option for local delivery.

Local "FREE" pick-up options are available during the Summer into early October months at various Farmer's Markets. Visit the "Locations" tab on our website with listings of available pick-up locations.

Where can I pick up my order?

During Spring thru the early Fall months local FREE pick-up can be selected at the time of check-out at either the Erie or Louisville Markets.

Availability for pick-up will be noted at check-out. Note we only are available in Erie from April - June and are available at the Louisville Market through October.

Do you ship internationally?

Unfortunately, we do not ship internationally.

What stores can I find your product?

At this time you can shop a selection of our products locally at Bricks Retail in Longmont, CO. or at the Painted Tree Boutiques in Northglenn, CO, #E17.

Where are you located?

Currently we manufacture our product in a commercial kitchen after hours which is located in the state of CO. Our current facility is not open to the public.

Do you offer Corporate discount pricing or discounts for large orders?

The short answer...yes! We have several options to partner with local corporation. Please contact us for further details and information.

At this time we are not accepting any further wholesale applications or inquires. Please check back later. Thank you.

Is your packaging sustainable?

Our packaging is made of food grade materials safe for food contact. We look to provide the best sustainable options as they come available. Many of our products are packaged in recyclable materials including PET 100% recyclable plastic and compostable plastics when available.
